I'm Chiang Chia Yang — final-year CS student at UTS Sarawak and Co-Founder & CFO of Aethereal, a software house based in KL & Sarawak that builds digital products and custom solutions.
At Aethereal I lead product development — including AERTA, our flagship cybersecurity product — while delivering client-facing web and AI solutions.
Outside of code, I organise ASEAN-level hackathons, judge drone competitions, and teach robotics & AI to students and teachers across rural Sarawak.

Ministry of Education (MEITD)-supported initiative. Led field-based STEM screening program identifying learning barriers among rural students across Sarawak.
Built with Next.js 16, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion. Features custom cursor glow, typewriter effect, magnetic buttons, 3D skills section, and cinematic image gallery.

University of Technology Sarawak (UTS)
Final year student currently completing FYP 2 — an open-source CTF web platform with AI integration. Co-Founder & President of the CS Club.
Aethereal — Software House
Co-founded a software house that builds digital products and custom solutions. Product owner of AERTA, Aethereal's flagship cybersecurity product for cyber-physical security monitoring.
Various Schools, Sarawak
Conducted hands-on workshops for 200+ students and 100+ teachers. Developed simplified teaching materials bridging theory and practical AI/robotics skills.
MEITD (Ministry of Education, Innovation, Technology & Digital)
Organised STEM outreach events across rural Sarawak under MEITD. Managed robotics competition logistics and served as head judge for Drone Soccer Sarawak.
Web Application Project
Led project coordination and designed the frontend UI for a web application, aligning interface design tightly with backend REST API functionality.

Won the Sarawak Game Jam — a rapid game development competition requiring a fully playable game built within a tight time constraint.
International
Achieved Top 3 in an international AI design hackathon bridging Singapore and Sarawak teams, competing on AI-driven product design solutions.
SMC
First Runner-Up at the SMC Makeathon — a hardware and software prototyping competition requiring end-to-end product development.
Shell Malaysia
Achieved Top 10 in both 2024 and 2025 editions of this national varsity challenge, demonstrating consistent performance across technical domains.
Startup World Cup
Representing Aethereal as a Finalist in the Malaysia East Chapter of the global Startup World Cup competition.
Beyond code — building communities, running events, and representing Sarawak on ASEAN stages.

Founded and led the CS Club at UTS — organising hackathons, workshops, and tech talks that connected students with industry. Grew the club into the main tech community on campus.
